Resume
I am a Canadian author currently living in Oshawa, Ontario. I was born and raised in the small community of Robinsons in Bay St. George, NL. My parents raised six children. Much of the family's yearly income came from seasonal work that usually included: fishing, farming, guiding hunters and fisherman, logging, and the pulpwood industry. After completing High School, I attended Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN) where I completed a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education degree. After graduating from MUN, I began my teaching career in Northern Labrador. Following this, I moved to Alberta where I worked as a Child and Youth Care Counsellor. My next move was to Ontario where I briefly continued on as a Child and Youth Care Counsellor, then resumed my teaching career.

Over the years, since settling in Ontario, I have obtained the following Graduate or Postgraduate level degrees: Master of Education, Doctor of Philosophy, and Doctor of Theology. I began writing in 2006 and all of my books have been published by Boonen Books. As a published author, my main writing focus has been on the History of Eastern Canada. I have also recently developed an interest in Christian writing.
